Long before I founded my Back2Health clinic in Brisbane in 2002, I was helping people get back to great health naturally. I know firsthand what it’s like to be in ill health. I’ve been there when nothing will work. As a teenager, I played a lot of sport, representing Queensland and Australia at a high level – I was an Olympic hopeful. But when I was 14 I ruptured a disc and seriously injured my back. I spent months in rehabilitation and months without playing any sport. Later in life, when I was training for hammer throwing for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, I injured it severely again. That was it. I was determined to mend the natural way, so I saw practitioner Wesley Clarke who helped me recover naturally. I was so inspired by him that I wanted to do what he did to help people.
